About Veronica
A person’s wedding day is one of the most memorable events in one’s life. Through Hotels for Hope, I help individuals not only make their wedding day one of the best, but also help them and their guests give back to the community all at the same time.
In addition to the many years of hotel industry experience, my combined experiences over the last 6 years have been diverse and rewarding in so many ways. I served on the Board of Directors for the Texas Asian Chamber of Commerce (TACC), spent 3 years as their Executive Director, planned the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Annual ASIA Food Fest events, sponsored my own Dragon Boat Team for Austin’s Annual Dragon Boat Festival, I’m a Realtor, and a business partner at Get Sum Dim Sum- a locally owned and operated restaurant where we have been voted Best Dim Sum by the Austin Chronicle Readers in 2010 and 2011. Through these experiences, I have taken part in celebrating Asian business, business owners, giving back to the community (TACC donations to MD Anderson, The Arc of Texas, China & Myanmar earthquake survivors, scholarships to Austin-area Asian graduating high school seniors), planning a cultural food event that celebrated Asian food, chefs, and culture, and much more. What I bring to H4H through all of this is my insight into non-profits, giving back, and entrepreneurship.
Outside of Hotels for Hope, I enjoy spending time with my wife and running my restaurant.
